How to use Tecnu Original
Tecnu Original stands as the tried & true classic solution on the trail, aiding you in the fight against poison oak, ivy, and sumac. Tecnu Original Outdoor Skin cleanser is a poison ivy cleanser designed to wash away the rash-causing oil (urushiol) from your skin (and other items) after exposure to poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac plants.
Check out the video above or follow these simple 2 steps below to effectively use Tecnu Original:
(Here are the steps for applying prior to the start of the rash)
Step One: Apply Tecnu Original to the dry, exposed area of your skin.
Step Two: Rub vigorously for 2 minutes to remove poison oils and other contaminants.
Step Three: Rinse your skin clean with cool water or wipe it off with a cloth.
For the best results, we recommend applying within the first 2 hours of exposure. If you were heavily exposed or are hypersensitive, you can repeat these steps or apply Tecnu Original to your entire body as needed.
So many trails, so little time for itchy problems, right? Tecnu Original is here to help!
